The Aegean Sailing School goes to Thailand!
Visit Phuket, Thailand’s largest island and cover about 300 miles.
We will be aboard a Leopard 464 catamaran and an Oceanis 46 that will sail in company, each with a crew of 6-8 people plus a skipper. The crew will be responsible for navigating and sailing the boat and the skipper will be there to make sure everyone is safe and to give instructions if required.
Some of the places we will visit will include Koh Yang, Koh Panyi and its Sea Gypsy Village, Koh Hong, Panak island , Ao Nang with its famous beach, Phi Phi islands , Maya bay and the Racha islands where you can enjoy coral reefs snorkelling in emerald waters.
The trip will run for a full week, between 12:00 Saturday 24 November to about 12:00 Saturday 1 December, with start and finish on Phuket island.
The price is 1400 Eur for your own cabin with ensuite, 700 Eur per person sharing a cabin with your partner or a friend. This includes accommodation on board, linen and towels per person and snorkelling gear.
The price does not include fuel, end cleaning of yacht, transfers to / from the catamarans or food. Fuel and yacht expenses such as mooring dues, electricity and water for the boat are inexpensive in Thailand and you should budget for about 65 – 70 Eur for fuel and all yacht expenses including end cleaning cost.
Food provisions to be delivered on board the boats before they set sail and everyone will need to contribute towards food and other basic supplies but this will not exceed the amount of 20 Eur each / week.
