Did you know that the owners of Aegean Sailing School also own a charter company called Portokali?
Since 2021, the two companies work hand in hand all year around. They share all resources which provides a more circular working process and a more sustainable distribution of materials and efforts. Together, they own 11 yachts for students and clients to sail on, and 1 extra yacht that they handle throughout the year.
I hereby present you our entire fleet, ranging from 37ft to 50ft, from 3-cabin to 5-cabin yachts.
All yachts are used for both charters and courses, but most of the time, if you book an RYA course you will be on board of Fystiki, Helena, Portokali, Luise or Athina. All yachts used for the school are approved by the RYA to guarantee all learning criteria for your certificates. You will also find asymmetrical spinnakers on board. Most of our boats are also equipped with air conditioning, for you to enjoy cool air during the warm summer months. For all yachts, no matter if you charter them or follow a course, you will find fresh linen, towels, and basic kitchen supplies on board. How can you cook in Greece without olive oil and herbs? We wouldn’t know so we make sure to refill it all. We are also refreshing all kitchen inventories to offer you new and high quality items!
Little zoom in: Oreo and Fystiki. Those two yachts are our latest additions to the fleet! In January, Jolle and Olivier went to pick up Fystiki all the way in Rhodos and sailed back to our base. Oreo is a yacht we used to handle for a while but we recently acquired it and are making it our own. We are currently pimping them up for them to be fully fresh and ready for the season! We are so glad to see our floating family is continuously growing.
All of our yachts are to be found in Aegina during the year. In October, the majority of them go to Kos for a month, so our students and clients can enjoy different sailing routes and sightings in a more southern sun!
If you would like to see more of each yacht, you can find photos and 365º views on our yacht page! I hope you can now have a better idea of our fleet.
See you soon on board, and sooner online!
