Clothing

• Swimwear, shorts and light T-shirts for on board.
• A set of warmer clothes and pullover for the night sail. 
• Light casual clothes for evenings ashore (Remember you may have to go ashore in the dinghy).
• Sun hat or cap.
• Sunglasses are a must to protect your eyes from the glare of sun on the sea and sails.
• Shoes: Please bring a pair of shoes suitable for wearing on a yacht. These should protect your heel and toes, and have a light coloured sole (NOT black) and a fine thread that doesn’t pick up stones. Proper boat shoes are ideal but expensive, shoes for working out are also fine.
• Gloves: We recommend that you use a pair of sailing gloves with open-ended fingers to protect your hands when pulling ropes.

Swim & beach equipment

• Beach towel, we provide towels but not for use with salt water.
• Snorkeling equipment: We have fins and a mask on board if you want to snorkel, but you may like to bring your own snorkel and mask if you have one you particularly like.

Personal care & health

• Toilet bag and toiletries.
• Any medications you may need. Please do not rely on being able to buy similar products in Greece. If you are an EU citizen please bring an E111 form or medical card.
• Travel insurance to cover you for an accident or illness.
• Sunscreen and after sun. Please do not bring P60 or other tan enhancers as these products stain the fiberglass of the boat and also our linen and towels.

Electronics

• USB charging cable for our 12V sockets.
• As power on board might be limited, an extra battery pack for your mobile phone could be handy.
• When on shore power, we have 220V. Please note that you may need a converter to an EU socket.

Documents & administration

• RYA Logbook: If you have a logbook already remember to bring it. You will need this to keep your certificate. If you do not already have a logbook we can supply them at €10.
• Euro currency: Payment by card is widely accepted throughout Greece nowadays. However, we recommend keeping a small amount of petty cash on hand (approximately €100) for minor expenses or unexpected situations.
• If you are joining the Day Skipper or Coastal course, please bring a passport photograph: we need this for your certificate.

Packing

• Please avoid bringing too much luggage with you, space onboard is limited and you’ll be surprised of how little you need aboard.
• Please bring your belongings in a soft bag, not a hard suitcase, so it is possible to fold it up.
